About the event
This month’s gathering will be a collaborative conversation about the needs, experiences, and support systems for queer youth in Acadiana. Whether you work with young people, care for them, or are part of their broader support network, your voice matters here.
We’ll share lunch together (let us know about dietary needs) and keep the atmosphere casual but purposeful, no formal speeches, just honest dialogue among people with valuable insight and lived experience. Bring a guest! Just RSVP for them as well.
Topics will include: current challenges queer youth face, what support exists (and what’s missing), and how families, schools, health providers, and faith communities can better show up. We’ll end the day with new connections, shared understanding, and ideas we can put into action.
