About the event
The Acadiana Queer Collective Book Club exists because community doesn’t just happen, we build it. Too often, queer connection is limited to bars, one-off events, or spaces that don’t feel accessible to everyone. Our book club creates a consistent, sober-friendly, welcoming space where LGBTQIA+ folks can gather, talk, listen, and connect through shared stories.
Each month, we read books by queer authors (or books deeply connected to queer experiences) and come together for guided discussion, reflection, and community-building. Whether you’ve read every page or just want to listen and be in the room, you are welcome.
RSVPing is important. Some meetings rotate locations, so RSVPs ensure you receive email updates with venue details, reminders, and any last-minute changes.
